IV Bioinformatics Summer School, 2016

Bioinformatics Summer School is an annual event for 100 undergraduate students, postgraduates and early stage researchers of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Biology majors who are interested in bioinformatics. The school's working language is Russian.

Classes include lectures, intensive courses and workshops. It is also possible to submit an abstract and present your research on one day conference and a poster session. In addition, teamwork on bioinformatics research projects will be organized under the supervision of senior bioinformaticians.

There is also an opportunity to participate in discussions with invited experts, workshops on presentation skills and academic writing as well as attend lectures on business in bioinformatics and biotechnology.

The key topic of Bioinformatics Summer School 2016 is medical bioinformatics.

In addition, teamwork on bioinformatics research projects will be organized under the supervision of senior bioinformaticians.

Main sections:

  • Bioinformatics for mathematicians and computer scientists
  • Bioinformatics for biologists and medical students
  • One-day conference and poster session
  • Research projects for more experienced participants
